The firm includes former federal Special Agents, attorneys and experts. It was founded in 2002 as Vilfer & Associates and primarily provided investigative services in support of complex civil litigation, fraud investigation and criminal defense. Recognizing a need for quality computer forensic examinations to compliment traditional evidence gathering techniques, Don Vilfer later expanded the firm's repertoire of services to include computer investigations and eDiscovery to more fully serve the legal and business community. Following this expansion into the realm of computer forensics and eDiscovery, the firm name was changed to Califorensics in 2008 to better reflect the variety and types of services offered.
Our clients include national law firms, sole practitioners, large and small businesses, and government agencies, a representative list of which is available upon request. We also do presentations and CLE classes on computer forensics and investigative services for legal and corporate groups.
